During Berlin Art Week, Berlin becomes a meeting point for contemporary art. With the Berlin Art Week Salon, we are bringing this exchange to Das Center at Potsdamer Platz, creating a space for emerging artistic positions, encounters, and new perspectives.
At the heart of the program is Emerge – A Contemporary Group Show, a group exhibition dedicated to emerging artists. The exhibition explores questions of visibility and access in the art world: who is given a platform, who gains access, and who has to create that access for themselves.
Emerge is curated by Marios Djamo Ngassam, curator and founder of Maison Marios, together with Cynthia Mensah-Neglokpe and Ann Austin.
The exhibition is accompanied by the Emerge Talks – a series of conversations and cross-industry encounters where contemporary art meets topics from real estate, design, and capital. Bringing together people from different disciplines, the talks create space for new ideas, perspectives, and exchange.
